Overhaul Kit for Injectors Fitted in Jaguar V12 HE & Daimler Double Six – Kit 180

This kit is compatible with Jaguar XJ/XJS 5.3 V12 HE and Daimler Double Six applications fitted with Bosch 0280150161, 0280150162, 0280150163 or 0280150164, Lucas 73304A, or EAC7874/EAC7875 injectors. Check your injector numbers before ordering. It includes ethanol-resistant hoses and all the required replacement parts to refurbish twelve injectors at home, with step-by-step illustrated instruction sheets.

First developed by Mr Injector UK in 2017. Buy direct here from the manufacturer; stockist prices may differ.

The injector hose pieces are supplied pre-cut in-house to the required lengths for the injector applications listed above, so you do not need to measure and cut the supplied hose yourself.

Its ethanol-resistant fuel hose lets you upgrade older polyester-reinforced injector hoses, helping futureproof your classic car as ethanol content in petrol rises and fuel blends change.

Check the inlet before ordering: this setup uses ferrules at both ends of each injector hose. Compare the injector and rail connections with the product photos. The 10 shorter hose pieces and 2 longer front-injector pieces are supplied pre-cut to length.

What’s included

  • 10 × short ethanol-resistant hose lengths, pre-cut to length
  • 2 × longer ethanol-resistant hose lengths for the front injectors, pre-cut to length
  • 24 × hose ferrules
  • 12 × pintle caps
  • 12 × inlet manifold seals
  • 12 × injector filter baskets
  • 12 × mid-body clamping rubbers
  • Step-by-step illustrated instruction sheets developed from hands-on V12 servicing experience

Choosing between Kit 180 and Kit 131: Kit 180 is the smaller injector overhaul kit, without the additional hose and clips supplied with Kit 131. If you also want to replace feed, return or other same-diameter engine hoses, consider the larger Kit 131, which includes an extra 2 metres of ethanol-resistant hose and clips. Check the injector fitment listed for each kit before ordering.

⚠️ Why you should check your old fuel hoses

UK fuel can contain up to 10% ethanol. Older polyester-reinforced fuel hoses can degrade over time, becoming hard, brittle or cracked. Leaks can occur, risking an engine fire. At the same time as replacing the injector hoses, it is advised to check the fuel feed and return lines and any other hoses around the engine, and replace any that are aged, cracked, hard, or unsuitable for current fuel.

Because of the delicate nature of injectors, particularly historic hose ones, we advise using somebody competent in removing/installing the parts for you to prevent issues arising such as over-tightening of the hose clamps or damaging the pintle needles. Doing so yourself is at your own risk and we take no responsibility for damage resulting from poor handling or installation of parts.
