Overhaul Kit for Bosch 0280150153 / Lucas 73179A Injectors in Jaguar 4.2 – Kit 136

Kit 136 is designed for six-cylinder Jaguar 4.2 applications fitted with Bosch 0280150153 or Lucas 73179A hose-to-rail fuel injectors. These injectors were fitted for a limited period, so check the numbers on your injectors before ordering rather than relying on the vehicle model alone. It includes ethanol-resistant hoses and all the required replacement parts to refurbish six injectors at home, with instruction sheets to guide you through the work.

Its ethanol-resistant fuel hose lets you upgrade older polyester-reinforced injector hoses, helping futureproof your classic car as ethanol content in petrol rises and fuel blends change.

Check the inlet before ordering: this kit is for connections using a ferrule at the injector end of each hose and a hose clip at the fuel-rail end. Compare your injector and rail connections with the product photos before ordering.

Before you order

• Confirm that your injectors are Bosch 0280150153 or Lucas 73179A fitted in a six-cylinder Jaguar 4.2 application.

⚠️ Why you should check your old fuel hoses

UK fuel can contain up to 10% ethanol. Older polyester-reinforced fuel hoses can degrade over time, becoming hard, brittle or cracked. Leaks can occur, risking an engine fire. At the same time as replacing the injector hoses, it is advised to check the fuel feed and return lines and any other hoses around the engine, and replace any that are aged, cracked, hard, or unsuitable for current fuel.
