Hose & Clip Kit for Jaguar V12 Lucas 73143A Injectors – Kit 87
Kit 87 is a hose and clip kit compatible with V12 Jaguars fitted with Lucas 73143A injectors. It suits very early Bosch EV1 D-Jetronic type injectors. Its ethanol-resistant fuel hose lets you upgrade older polyester-reinforced injector hoses, helping futureproof your classic Jaguar as ethanol content in petrol rises and fuel blends change.
Check the inlet before ordering: this kit suits injectors with a single arrow-headed inlet port. Please compare yours with the product photo. The hose is secured with clips; it does not use the double-arrow-headed ferrule fixing.
What’s included
- 12 pieces of ethanol-resistant aramid-braided fuel hose, cut to the lengths you specify
- 24 fuel line clips, perfectly matched to the hose
- Instruction sheets with recommended fitting guidance
Fuel Hose specifications

⚠️ Why you should check your old fuel hoses
UK fuel can contain up to 10% ethanol. Older polyester-reinforced fuel hoses can degrade over time, becoming hard, brittle or cracked. Leaks can occur, risking an engine fire. At the same time as replacing the injector hoses, it is advised to check the fuel feed and return lines and any other hoses around the engine, and replace any that are aged, cracked, hard, or unsuitable for current fuel.

Because of the delicate nature of injectors, particularly historic hose ones, we advise using somebody competent in removing/installing the parts for you to prevent issues arising such as over-tightening of the hose clamps or damaging the pintle needles. Doing so yourself is at your own risk and we take no responsibility for damage resulting from poor handling or installation of parts.
