When refurbishing the parts on your high pressure injectors, we strongly advise installing our all-metal filter replacements because they are resistant to being dissolved, unlike the original plastic ones. We think this happens due to the additives found in today's fuels. When this happens, particles of the original filters are pushed down into the injector pintle, reducing/blocking flow and causing leaks. You would be surprised at the effects that a tiny particle can cause, some of which (particles) can't be seen by the naked eye. Our all-metal filter baskets are resistant to being dissolved so there is no chance of them breaking down and clogging the injectors they are supposed to protect.

Ours are completely free-flowing because they do not have the plastic block at the base of the mesh that plastic filters have, this means that, even if installed deeply, they will not affect the flow rates of your injectors.

Not all high pressure GDI injectors take these filters, others can require extra thin filters or have a brass bung in the inlet port, preventing you from changing your filters. It is your responsibility to check which type you require before ordering.

Because of the delicate nature of injectors, particularly historic hose ones, we advise using somebody competent in removing/installing the parts for you to prevent issues arising such as over-tightening of the hose clamps or damaging the pintle needles. Doing so yourself is at your own risk and we take no responsibility for damage resulting from poor handling or installation of parts.
